  • Emergency Obstetric and Neonatal Care (EmONC): A model of providing EmONC services at the district hospital will be developed with the technical assistance and will be replicated in all district hospitals in a phase wise manner.
  • Addressing gender issues including establishment of VAW corner in DH, Gender responsive Budgeting, Gender Auditing, Gender violence, appraisal of health care professionals on sexual assault.
  • Ensuring 24/7 Comprehensive Emergency Management System (CEmONC) in all district hospitals and possible linkage with services and inpatient departments
  • Establishment and scale up of women friendly hospital initiatives.

  • CEmONC services are provided in all district hospitals effectively.
  • Women Friendly Hospital Initiatives are established in 21 district hospitals and others are ongoing.
  • Gender issues are being addressed on Gender responsive Budgeting (GRB), Gender Auditing, Gender violence and appraisal of health care professionals on sexual assault.
